How long have you been in business?
The Good Samaritan Pet Doctor is a new clinic that will be opening in mid-late March 2015.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary service is providing the most affordable pet surgery and dental care in Omaha.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr. Kristen Engel has been a veterinarian since 2008. She worked at the Nebraska Humane Society for 6 years where she performed over 10,000 surgeries, spays/neuters, dentals and provided excellent healthcare for every animal that came into the shelter. During her time at the shelter she witnessed the magnitude of loving owners forced to surrender or euthanize their pets due to their inability to afford a surgery. The Good Samaritan Pet Doctor's mission is to make lifesaving and life-extending surgery and dental care possible for ALL pets.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are not a full service veterinary clinic, but instead focus on surgery and dental care only. By limiting the scope of our services, we can provide the most affordable pet surgery and dental care in Omaha without compromising the quality of care.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At this time, we have one location at 4847 N 72nd St. If our clinic is as popular as we're hoping, we'd definitely love to expand!

Dr. Kristen Engel is the owner and lead surgeon at the clinic.

The hours for the clinic will be from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
